Intangible Cultural Heritage of Asia and the Pacific

About the ICH Courier

ICHCAP (the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO) launched the ICH Courier in 2009 as a print quarterly to disseminate information and news related to Asia-Pacific intangible cultural heritage. Thanks to the support of our dedicated readership, the publication has been a great success, and we have doubled the length of our print publication, from sixteen pages to thirty-two, so that we can provide a better experience for our readers.

We launched in early 2016 to provide a modern alternative to ICH news and information. On this dedicated site, we republish selected articles from the print publication and enhance them with additional photographs and media as they are available. In addition, we have posted links to all the print publications for download as .pdf files.

Our aim is to provide a comfortable environment for our readers to access Asia-Pacific information related to intangible cultural heritage.

The ICH Courier is produced by ICHCAP staff and the contributions of our Editorial Board. The current staff and board members are listed below. For information about previous staff and board members, please refer to the colophon in previously published volumes.
